Dr. Scarafone grew up in the Greater Philadelphia area. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University. Following graduation, he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

During dental school, Dr. Scarafone served as President of the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry. In this role, he developed a deeper understanding of diverse patient needs, particularly focusing on providing care for individuals with special needs.

After completing dental school, Dr. Scarafone pursued a residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where he treated patients with complex medical conditions, often in an operating room setting. He also gained valuable experience treating military veterans at the Hines VA Hospital, with a strong emphasis on oral surgery and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Scarafone prioritizes patient comfort, education, and confidence during every dental visit.

He practices at the Eynon office on Mondays and Tuesdays and the Stroudsburg office from Wednesday through Friday.

Dr. Scarafone stays current with advancements in dental technology and actively participates in continuing education. He is a proud member of the Pennsylvania Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Arcolian Dental Arts Society.

In his free time, Dr. Scarafone enjoys golfing, exploring Italian restaurants, playing chess, and following Penn State wrestling.
